कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
जात्यन्धाक्षापरे देव रोगार्ताश्षापरे तथा । नरा: क्लीबाश्व दृश्यन्ते कारणं ब्रूहि तत्र वै,देव! कुछ लोग जन्मान्ध, कुछ रोगसे पीड़ित और कितने ही नपुंसक देखे जाते हैं। इसका क्या कारण है? यह मुझे बताइये
jātyandhāḥ śāpāpare deva rogārtāḥ śāpāpare tathā | narāḥ klībāś ca dṛśyante kāraṇaṁ brūhi tatra vai, deva ||
Wahai Deva, ada yang tampak buta sejak lahir; ada yang menderita penyakit; dan ada pula yang tampak impoten. Katakanlah kepadaku dengan sebenar-benarnya sebab di balik keadaan-keadaan itu.
