Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

ग्रहस्यथातिबलस्याजड्रे वरदत्तस्य धीमत: । न शस्त्राणि वहन्त्यड्रे चक्रवज्ञशतान्यपि

grahasyathātibalasyāḍre varadattasya dhīmataḥ | na śastrāṇi vahantyāḍre cakravajñaśatāny api ||

Vāsudeva berkata: “Graha yang perkasa dan cerdas itu—yang dianugerahi anugerah oleh Śiva—begitu kebal sehingga bahkan ratusan senjata setajam cakra dan vajra pun tak mampu menembus tubuhnya. Maka, kekuatan dan persenjataan semata menjadi sia-sia di hadapan perlindungan rahmat ilahi.”
