Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
शूरं बलवतां श्रेष्ठ कान्तरूपमकल्मषम् | आत्मतुल्यं मम सुतं प्रयच्छाच्युत माचिरम्
śūraṃ balavatāṃ śreṣṭhaṃ kāntarūpam akalmaṣam | ātmatulyaṃ mama sutaṃ prayacchācyuta māciram ||
Wahai Acyuta, anugerahkanlah kepadaku tanpa penundaan seorang putra yang setara denganku—gagah berani, terunggul di antara yang kuat, elok rupa dan indah, serta bebas dari segala noda. Jangan ada penangguhan dalam hal ini.
