Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ

गौर: श्यामस्तथा कृष्ण: पाण्डुरो धूमलोहित: । विकृताक्षो विशालाक्षो दिग्वासा: सर्ववासक:
gauraḥ śyāmas tathā kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍuro dhūmalohitaḥ | vikṛtākṣo viśālākṣo digvāsāḥ sarvavāsakaḥ ||
Kadang Ia tampak cerah, kadang kelam, kadang gelap; kadang pucat, kadang berwarna asap, kadang merah-tembaga. Kadang matanya tampak ganjil, dan kadang Ia berhias dengan mata yang indah dan lebar. Kadang Ia terlihat tanpa busana, dan kadang berhiaskan segala macam pakaian.
