Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
नन्दते कुप्यते चापि तथा हुंकारयत्यपि । चक्री शूली गदापाणिर्मुसली खड्गपट्टिशी
nandate kupyate cāpi tathā huṅkārayaty api | cakrī śūlī gadāpāṇir musalī khaḍgapaṭṭiśī ||
Vāsudeva bersabda: “Kadang Ia bersukacita dan menggembirakan yang lain; kadang, murka, Ia menampakkan amarah; dan kadang Ia mengaum dengan dahsyat. Ia memegang cakra, tombak bermata tiga, gada; juga alu, pedang, dan kapak perang.”
