दानशील-समाचारः, सत्कारः, अहिंसा च
Umā–Maheśvara Saṃvāda
पितरश्न न तुष्यन्ति सह देवैर्विशेषत: । प्रायक्षित्तं तु यत् तत्र ब्रुवतस्तन्निबोध मे
pitaras na tuṣyanti saha devair viśeṣataḥ | prāyaścittaṁ tu yat tatra bruvatas tan nibodha me ||
Di sana para Pitṛ pun tidak menjadi puas—bahkan bersama para dewa mereka terlebih tidak berkenan. Karena itu, dengarkanlah ketika aku menjelaskan prāyaścitta (penebusan) yang ditetapkan untuk keadaan demikian.
