Umā’s Inquiry and the Manifestation of the Third Eye (उमा–प्रश्नः तृतीयनेत्रोत्पत्तिः)
न त्वमल्पेन तपसा दानेन नियमेन वा । इमं लोकमनुप्राप्ता त्वं हि तत्त्व वदस्व मे
na tvam alpena tapasā dānena niyamena vā | imaṁ lokam anuprāptā tvaṁ hi tattvaṁ vadasva me ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Sungguh, bukan dengan tapa yang sedikit, bukan pula semata-mata dengan derma atau pengekangan lahiriah engkau mencapai dunia ini. Maka katakanlah kepadaku tatanan hakiki itu—ucapkan kebenaran sebagaimana adanya.”
