अन्नदानफलं (Anna-dāna-phala) / The Fruit of Food-Giving
अर्चयेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षमेवं संवत्सरं तु यः । जातिस्मरत्वं प्राप्नोति विन्द्याद् बहु सुवर्णकम्
arcayet puṇḍarīkākṣam evaṁ saṁvatsaraṁ tu yaḥ | jātismaratvaṁ prāpnoti vindyād bahu suvarṇakam ||
Bhīṣma bersabda: Siapa yang dengan cara demikian memuja Puṇḍarīkākṣa (Viṣṇu, Sang Teratai-Bermata) selama setahun penuh, memperoleh daya mengingat kelahiran-kelahiran lampau, dan juga meraih emas yang berlimpah.
