मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

उसमें स्फटिक और वज्रसारमणिके खम्भे लगे होते हैं। उसपर सुन्दर ढंगसे बनी हुई वेदी शोभा पाती है तथा वहाँ हंस और सारस पक्षी कलरव करते रहते हैं। ऐसे विशाल विमानपर चढ़ता और स्वच्छन्द घूमता है ।।

ekādaśe tu divase yaḥ prāpte prāśate haviḥ | sadā dvādaśa-māsāṁs tu juhvāno jātavedasam ||

Bhishma bersabda—Pada wimana itu terpasang pilar-pilar dari kristal dan permata sekeras wajra. Di atasnya tampak pelataran (vedikā) yang dibuat indah, dan di sana angsa serta burung sārasā terus berseru. Dengan menaiki wimana yang besar itu ia berkelana dengan leluasa. Dan ia yang ketika hari kesebelas tiba menyantap havi, serta selama dua belas bulan senantiasa mempersembahkan ke dalam Agni Jātavedas—
