Dhūpa–Dīpa–Bali Phala Praśna; Nahūṣa–Agastya–Bhṛgu Saṃvāda
Incense, Lamp, and Bali Offerings; the Nahūṣa Dialogue
The verse emphasizes restoration of rightful authority and the removal of corrupt, sinful rule: moral order (dharma) requires that an unworthy usurper be expelled and the legitimate holder of office be re-established.
Agastya declares that he will, in the listeners’ presence, expel a wicked-minded wrongdoer from Indra’s position and reinstall Indra (Śatakratu) on the divine throne.
