दुर्योधनो हि समरे सहसैन्य: सहानुज: । निहतः क्षत्रधर्मेडस्मिन् दुरात्मा कुलपांसन:,दुरात्मा एवं कुलाड्ार दुर्योधन सेना और बन्धुओं सहित क्षत्रियधर्मके अनुसार होनेवाले इस युद्धमें मारा गया
duryodhano hi samare sahasainyaḥ sahānujaḥ | nihataḥ kṣatradharme 'smin durātmā kulapāṃsanaḥ ||
Duryodhana—berhati jahat dan noda bagi garis keturunannya—telah tewas dalam pertempuran ini, bersama bala tentaranya dan adik-adiknya, sesuai dharma ksatria yang mengatur perang semacam ini.
