अथापरे शरैरविंद्धा क्ष॒क्रवेगेरितास्तथा । वेलामिव समासाद्य व्यतिष्ठचन्नमितौजस:
athāpare śarair avinddhāḥ śakravegeritās tathā | velām iva samāsādya vyatiṣṭhacan namitaujasaḥ ||
Yang lain—para Daitya dan Dānava yang perkasa—tertikam panah dan terguncang oleh deru cakra; mereka maju sampai batas bagaikan gelombang samudra yang menghantam pantai lalu berhenti, tak mampu menerobos lebih jauh.
