Shivamurti–Pratishtha Phala: Shivalaya-Nirmana, Kshetra-Mahatmya, Tirtha-Snana, and Mandala-Vidhi
Suta Goswami (narrating the Rudralaya-mahatmya to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It teaches the extraordinary efficacy of Rudra’s sacred abode: even a single act of approaching or visiting the Rudralaya generates merit that yields tangible फल (results), including svarga and fulfillment of aims, supporting the Purana’s emphasis on Linga/temple-centered devotion.
Shiva is implied as Pati—the sovereign giver of फल—whose presence in Rudralaya makes grace accessible even to desire-driven seekers; the Lord’s sanctity transforms limited motives into spiritually potent contact.
A simple but potent practice is highlighted: darśana/visitation of Rudra’s abode (temple-pilgrimage). In a Shaiva frame, it functions as an entry-point to devotion and purification that can mature toward Pashupata-oriented discipline.
