By preserving the succession of royal-sages, the verse situates Linga worship within dharmic continuity—showing how righteous rulers and seers sustain the world-order ultimately upheld by Pati (Shiva).
Though Shiva is not named, the genealogical flow implies Shiva-tattva as the unseen sovereign principle (Pati) by whose ordinance creation, succession, and dharma proceed—Pashus (souls) move through embodied lineages under cosmic law.
No explicit puja-vidhi or Pashupata Yoga technique is stated; the takeaway is dharma-yoga through rajarsi conduct—right governance and sage-like restraint as supportive disciplines for Shiva-bhakti.
