Mereka menghadirkan keberkahan bagi manusia dan merenggut dosa orang yang berhati jahat; bagi para penempuh jalan baik, mereka menyingkirkan cela dan demerit berulang kali.
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It frames Shiva-oriented dharma (including Linga-centered observances) as producing śubha (auspicious merit) and actively destroying durita (sin), preparing the pashu for proximity to Pati, Śiva.
By implication, Shiva-tattva is the liberating principle: when conduct aligns with Śiva-dharma, bondage (pasha) is weakened and sin is removed repeatedly, indicating Śiva as the purifier and goal of the soul’s return.
The verse emphasizes supracāra—right conduct and disciplined observance—consistent with Pāśupata orientation: ethical purity and regular Shiva-practice that steadily erodes karmic impurity.
