भुवनकोशस्वभाववर्णनम् — सप्तद्वीप-पर्वत-लोकविन्यासः तथा यक्ष-उमा-प्रकाशः

द्वीपस्यानन्तरो यस्तु समुद्रः सप्तमस्तु वै एवं द्वीपसमुद्राणां वृद्धिर्ज्ञेया परस्परम्

Transliteration

dvīpasyānantaro yastu samudraḥ saptamastu vai evaṃ dvīpasamudrāṇāṃ vṛddhirjñeyā parasparam

Translation

Samudra yang tepat setelah benua-pulau itu adalah samudra ketujuh; demikianlah hendaknya dipahami bahwa pulau-pulau dan samudra bertambah secara berurutan satu terhadap yang lain.
