प्रलय-तत्त्वलयः, नीललोहित-रुद्रः, अष्टमूर्तिस्तवः, एवं ब्रह्मणो वैराग्यम्
मृत्युहीनः पुमान्विद्धि समृत्युः पद्मजो ऽपि सः किंतु देवेश्वरो रुद्रः प्रसीदति यदीश्वरः
mṛtyuhīnaḥ pumānviddhi samṛtyuḥ padmajo 'pi saḥ kiṃtu deveśvaro rudraḥ prasīdati yadīśvaraḥ
Ketahuilah bahwa Purusha Tertinggi bebas dari kematian; bahkan Brahmā yang lahir dari teratai pun berada dalam lingkup maut. Namun Rudra, Penguasa para dewa—Pati—bila berkenan, menganugerahkan karunia dan keadaan melampaui kematian, yakni pada Śiva-pada.
