Wahai Dewi, Ratu para dewa! Apa yang dapat kuuraikan tentang Avimukta yang dipuja oleh himpunan para ṛṣi, tempat buah anugerahnya senantiasa nyata?
Suta Goswami (narrating the Avimukta-mahatmya within the Linga Purana’s discourse)
It elevates Avimukta (Kāśī) as a supreme Shaiva kṣetra where the fruits of Shiva-oriented worship arise unfailingly, implying that Linga-pūjā performed there swiftly bears siddhi and mokṣa-oriented merit.
By stressing the inexhaustible, ever-arising “fruit” of Avimukta, the verse implies Shiva-tattva as Pati—the unfailing bestower of grace—whose presence in a kṣetra makes liberation-oriented results continuously accessible to the pashu (bound soul).
The verse points to kṣetra-sevā and Shaiva worship (especially Linga-pūjā, japa, and vrata in Avimukta) as a direct means for the pashu to loosen pāśa (bondage) through Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
