Lord Vishnu (narrating to Garuda/Vinata-putra in the Garuda Purana dialogue frame)
Concept: Self-realization of the subtle divine nature and recognition of the world as non-separate yet qualified manifestation (viśeṣa-yukta).
Vedantic Theme: Bhedābheda/Viśiṣṭādvaita resonance: unity with real distinctions; śakti as immanent in prapañca.
Application: Contemplate the subtle self (antar-svarūpa) while seeing the world as pervaded by the Divine; cultivate reverence for differentiated qualities without losing the sense of underlying unity.
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta

This verse highlights that true knowledge is the direct realization of an extremely subtle reality, indicating that the deepest nature of the Divine (and by extension consciousness) is not gross but subtle and discerned through inner realization.
It states that Lakṣmī knows the world as her own, implying an intimate non-separation between the Divine and manifestation, while still acknowledging that the world displays distinct qualities and differentiations.
Cultivate discernment: see inner awareness as primary (subtle), and engage the world respectfully as a meaningful manifestation with real distinctions—supporting ethical living, devotion, and steady self-inquiry.
