FAQs

This verse frames abhiṣeka as effective when empowered by core Vedic mantras—Oṁ, the vyāhṛtis, and Gāyatrī—indicating mantra-śakti and purity are central to the rite.

It specifies that abhiṣeka should be done at both the start and the conclusion, implying a structured opening purification and a closing sanctification in the prescribed order.

When performing pūjā or purification rites, begin and end with a clear, consistent mantra-based cleansing—keeping the practice orderly and reverent rather than random or rushed.
