द्रुपदादिव इति च शन्नो देवीरपां रसः / आपो देवो पावमान्यः पुनन्त्वाद्या ऋचो नव
drupadādiva iti ca śanno devīrapāṃ rasaḥ / āpo devo pāvamānyaḥ punantvādyā ṛco nava
Ucapkanlah 'drupadādiva...' dan juga 'śanno devīḥ...'. Semoga esensi dari Air suci menyucikan kita; semoga Dewa Air, Pavamāna, membersihkan kita. Demikianlah sembilan ayat Ṛk yang pertama.
