Parīkṣit’s Final Instruction
न तत्रात्मा स्वयंज्योतिर्यो व्यक्ताव्यक्तयो: पर: । आकाश इव चाधारो ध्रुवोऽनन्तोपमस्तत: ॥ ८ ॥
na tatrātmā svayaṁ-jyotir yo vyaktāvyaktayoḥ paraḥ ākāśa iva cādhāro dhruvo ’nantopamas tataḥ
Di sana sang ātman bercahaya oleh dirinya sendiri, melampaui tubuh kasar yang tampak dan tubuh halus yang tak tampak. Ia menjadi landasan yang tetap bagi perubahan jasmani, laksana langit eter; karena itu ātman tak berujung dan tiada bandingan materialnya.
