Vasudeva and Devakī Glorify Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; The Recovery of Devakī’s Six Sons from Sutala
This verse says that merely seeing the Lord floods the heart with joy, inspiring immediate humility and surrender—Bali rises at once and bows down.
Because he recognized Them as the Supreme Lord, the Soul of the universe and his own worshipful Deity; that recognition naturally expressed itself as reverence and submission.
Cultivate “recognition” of the Divine in daily encounters—through prayer, sacred reading, and temple darśana—so that gratitude and humility arise quickly, guiding your actions.
