Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rājasūya Resolve and the Slaying of Jarāsandha
This verse notes that Jarāsandha was considered unconquered, and that Kṛṣṇa, seeing the king’s concern, had Uddhava immediately present the practical strategy to address the challenge.
In the narrative, the king (Yudhiṣṭhira) is weighing how to proceed against the seemingly invincible Jarāsandha; Uddhava, as Kṛṣṇa’s wise counselor, articulates the timely plan to move the mission forward.
When a problem appears “unconquerable,” this verse encourages calm reflection and seeking guidance from wise, devoted counselors—then acting decisively with a clear, ethical strategy.
