Pradyumna’s Abduction, Mahā-māyā, and the Slaying of Śambara
In this verse, ‘naravaidūrya’ means “a jewel among men,” expressing the onlookers’ amazement at Kṛṣṇa’s extraordinary, auspicious presence.
Because Kṛṣṇa’s beauty and divine qualities are so striking that the observers, seeing Him in the context of Rukmiṇī’s marriage, speak in wonder about His noble origin and unparalleled charm.
The verse encourages cultivating reverent admiration for divine qualities—training the mind to notice and remember Kṛṣṇa’s auspiciousness rather than becoming absorbed only in ordinary worldly impressions.
