Uddhava Sent to Vraja: Consolation to Nanda-Yaśodā and the Gopīs’ Separation
Uddhava understood that Nanda and Yaśodā were very impatient to see Kṛṣṇa, and thus he reassured them that Śrī Kṛṣṇa would come soon.
This verse states that Kṛṣṇa resides within the inner heart of all beings (antaryāmī), just as fire exists hidden within wood.
In Vṛndāvana, Uddhava consoled Kṛṣṇa’s parents and the Vraja devotees who were suffering in separation, assuring them of Kṛṣṇa’s nearness and His presence within all hearts.
When feeling anxiety or separation, remember Kṛṣṇa’s indwelling presence and turn inward through prayer, japa, and remembrance, trusting that He is never truly distant.
