तद् बलाबलवद्युद्धं समेता: सर्वयोषित: । ऊचु: परस्परं राजन् सानुकम्पा वरूथश: ॥ ६ ॥

Transliteration

tad balābalavad yuddhaṁ sametāḥ sarva-yoṣitaḥ ūcuḥ parasparaṁ rājan sānukampā varūthaśaḥ

Translation

Wahai Raja, semua wanita yang hadir menganggap pertandingan itu sebagai pertarungan tidak adil antara yang kuat dan yang lemah; karena belas kasih mereka sangat gelisah, lalu berkumpul berkelompok di sekeliling arena dan saling berkata demikian.
