Akrūra bersandar pada keteguhan sattva dan memuji dengan suara parau tersedu. Ia menundukkan kepala hingga menyentuh tanah, lalu dengan tangan terkatup ia perlahan-lahan, dengan hati terpusat, memulai doa.
Thus end the purports of the humble servants of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda to the Tenth Canto, Thirty-ninth Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled “Akrūra’s Vision.”
This verse describes classic bhakti symptoms—overwhelming joy, hairs standing on end, and tear-filled eyes—arising when a devotee beholds Kṛṣṇa with supreme devotion.
Akrūra’s heart was filled with paramā-bhakti; upon receiving Their darśana, his inner devotion naturally manifested as ecstatic bodily transformations.
Cultivate sincere devotion through remembrance, prayer, and service; the verse highlights that genuine spiritual emotion arises from real inner connection, not performance.
