Veṇu-gīta-āhvāna and the Gopīs’ Appeal: The Opening of Rāsa-līlā
दुहन्त्योऽभिययु: काश्चिद् दोहं हित्वा समुत्सुका: । पयोऽधिश्रित्य संयावमनुद्वास्यापरा ययु: ॥ ५ ॥
duhantyo ’bhiyayuḥ kāścid dohaṁ hitvā samutsukāḥ payo ’dhiśritya saṁyāvam anudvāsyāparā yayuḥ
Sebagian gopī sedang memerah susu sapi; begitu mendengar seruling Kṛṣṇa, mereka dengan bersemangat meninggalkan pemerahan dan bergegas pergi. Ada yang membiarkan susu mengental di atas tungku, dan ada pula yang meninggalkan kue yang sedang terbakar di perapian, lalu pergi menemui-Nya.
