Brahmā’s Prayers to Lord Kṛṣṇa (Brahmā-stuti) and the Restoration of Vraja’s Lunch Pastime

This verse states that even though a full year passed, the cowherd boys—covered by Kṛṣṇa’s māyā—felt it was only half a moment, showing His divine control over experience and time.
Śukadeva is narrating Kṛṣṇa’s Vraja-līlā to Parīkṣit and highlights the wonder of Yogamāyā: the boys remained unaware of the year-long interval because Kṛṣṇa, their very life and inner Self, arranged it.
It reminds devotees that the Lord can reshape one’s inner experience; by steady bhakti and remembrance of Kṛṣṇa as the indwelling guide, anxiety about time and outcomes can lessen.
