Sukta 5
अजा रोह सुकृतां यत्र लोकः शरभो न चत्तोऽति दुर्गान्येषः । पञ्चौदनो ब्रह्मणे दीयमानः स दातारं तृप्त्या तर्पयाति
ajā́ róha sukṛtā́ṃ yátra lókaḥ śarábho ná cattó ’ti durgā́ny eṣáḥ | páñcā́udano brā́hmaṇe dīyámānaḥ sá dātā́raṃ tṛ́ptyā tarpayāti ||
O Ajā, ascend where is the world of the well-doers: like the Śarabha, not fallen, pass thou over the hard straits. The Fivefold Rice, when it is given to the Brāhmaṇa, that same refreshes the giver with satisfaction and with fullness.
Wahai Ajā, naiklah ke tempat dunia para pelaku kebajikan berada; seperti Śarabha, tanpa jatuh, seberangilah kesukaran-kesukaran yang berat ini. Nasi Lima-lapis (Pañcaudana), ketika diberikan kepada Brāhmaṇa, itulah yang menyegarkan sang pemberi dengan kepuasan dan dengan kepenuhan.
