Sukta 110

ज्येष्ठघ्न्यं जातो विचृतोर्यमस्य मूलबर्हणात् परि पाह्येनम्। अत्येनं नेषद् दुरितानि विश्वा दीर्घायुत्वाय शतशारदाय

jyeṣṭhaghnyàṃ jātó vicṛ́tor yámásya mū́labárhaṇāt pári pāhy enam | áty enaṃ neṣad duritā́ni víśvā dīrghāyutvā́ya śatáśāradāya ||

From that elder-slaying power, born of Yama’s rending Disperser—from the root-uprooting—do thou guard him round about. So may he be led beyond all misfortunes, unto long-livedness, unto a hundred autumns.

Dari daya pembunuh yang tua—yang lahir dari pengoyak Yama, Sang Penyebar—dari yang mencabut hingga ke akar—lindungilah dia dari segala sisi. Semoga ia dituntun melampaui segala kemalangan, menuju umur panjang, menuju seratus musim gugur.
