आ हरयः ससृज्रिरेऽरुषीरधि बर्हिषि । यत्राभि संनवामहे

ā́ háryaḥ sasṛjrire ’rúṣīr ádhi bárhiṣi | yátrābhí saṃnávāmahe

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Hither have the tawny, ruddy steeds sped, upon the sacred grass—there where we urge our invocation on.

Ke sini kuda-kuda kuning kemerahan, yang merah menyala, telah melesat, di atas barhis (rumput suci); di sanalah kita mendorong maju seruan pemanggilan kita.
