विश्वव्यचा घृतपृष्ठो भविष्यन्त्सयोनिर्लोकमुप याह्येतम्। वर्षवृद्धमुप यच्छ शूर्पं तुषं पलावानप तद् विनक्तु
viśvavyácā ghṛtápṛṣṭho bhaviṣyán sáyonir lokám úpa yāhy etám | varṣávṛddham úpa yaccha śū́rpaṃ túṣaṃ palā́vān ápa tád vinaktu ||
All-pervading, ghee-backed, about to prosper, well-based—come thou unto this sphere. Lay hold upon the winnowing-fan, rain-nourished; let it sift away the husk, the strawy refuse—let that be severed off.
Yang meresapi segala, berpunggung ghee, akan beruntung, berlandas baik—datanglah ke ranah ini. Raihlah tampah penampi (śūrpa) yang disuburkan hujan; biarlah ia menampi dan menyingkirkan sekam, jerami-sisa—biarlah itu terpisah dan terbuang.
