लम्भपालनो हि दण्डः कोशस्य कोशः कोशस्य दण्डस्य च भवति ॥ कZ_०८.१.५१ ॥

Transliteration

lambhapālano hi daṇḍaḥ kośasya kośaḥ kośasya daṇḍasya ca bhavati

Translation

Dengan mengamankan perolehan dan melindungi apa yang telah diperoleh, kekuatan hukuman (daṇḍa) menjadi ‘perbendaharaan bagi perbendaharaan’; dan perbendaharaan, pada gilirannya, menjadi ‘perbendaharaan bagi kekuatan hukuman’.
