tasmāt samastaśaktīnām ādhāre tatra cetasaḥ kurvīta saṃsthitiṃ sā tu vijñeyā śuddhadhāraṇā

Sage Parāśara (teaching Maitreya)
It defines true concentration as the steady fixing of the mind on the Supreme foundation that upholds all powers—implying liberation-oriented meditation rather than scattered attention.
He frames dhāraṇā as an intentional, stable placement of the mind upon the ultimate support of all energies, indicating an inner discipline aligned with moksha.
Vishnu is implied as the supreme substratum of all śaktis; meditating on Him as the ground of all power reflects core Vaishnava metaphysics where the Absolute is personal and sovereign.
