Sage Parāśara (teaching Maitreya)
It frames all genuine reflection on self, body, and qualities as rooted in the supreme inner Self—Vishnu—so spiritual inquiry is ultimately inquiry into Him.
He teaches that even analytical discourse about the self and guṇas is ‘not other’ than the primordial Lord, because it functions by and within the Lord’s own inner-Self nature.
Vishnu is presented as the foundational reality behind cognition and doctrine itself—speech about spiritual truth points to Him as the Supreme Self and ultimate referent.
