Freedom from Yama through Hari-śaraṇāgati
tenākhyātam idaṃ cedam itthaṃ caitad bhaviṣyati tathā ca tad abhūd vatsa yathoktaṃ tena dhīmatā
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
It underscores Purāṇic authority: events unfold in accordance with the truthful utterance of the wise, reinforcing the theme of dharma and cosmic order.
By affirming that what was declared by the discerning sage “will be thus,” and then stating it indeed happened exactly so—linking narration, prophecy, and truth-bearing speech.
Even when Vishnu is not named directly, the verse implies an ordered reality where truth prevails—an order ultimately grounded in Vishnu’s supreme governance in Vaishnava cosmology.
