तेनार्षिसृष्टेन च तेज-सा वृतं ज्वलत्प्रकाशार्कसहस्रतुल्यम् तस्माच्च जाता तरलायताक्षी कात्यायनी योगविशुद्धदेहा
tenārṣisṛṣṭena ca teja-sā vṛtaṃ jvalatprakāśārkasahasratulyam tasmācca jātā taralāyatākṣī kātyāyanī yogaviśuddhadehā
ऋषि द्वारा सृजित उस तेज से आवृत, जो ज्वलन्त प्रकाश में सहस्र सूर्यों के समान था, उसी से तरल, विशाल नेत्रों वाली, योग से शुद्ध देह वाली कात्यायनी उत्पन्न हुई।
