इत्येवमुक्त्वा भगवाञ्जगाम दिशं स याम्यां सहसान्तरिक्षम् आक्रम्य तस्थौ स हि तां तदाशां काले व्रजाम्यत्र यदा मुनीन्द्रः
ityevamuktvā bhagavāñjagāma diśaṃ sa yāmyāṃ sahasāntarikṣam ākramya tasthau sa hi tāṃ tadāśāṃ kāle vrajāmyatra yadā munīndraḥ
ऐसा कहकर भगवान् मुनि शीघ्र ही आकाश मार्ग से दक्षिण दिशा की ओर चले गए। उस दिशा में पहुँचकर वे वहीं ठहर गए और सोचने लगे— “समय आने पर, जब मुनियों में श्रेष्ठ यहाँ आएगा, तब मैं यहाँ जाऊँगा।”
