पञ्चम्यामथ मात्रायां यदि प्राणैर्वियुज्यते । उषितः सह देवत्वं सोमलोके महीयते ॥१४॥

पञ्चम्याम् । अथ । मात्रायाम् । यदि । प्राणैः । वियुज्यते । उषितः । सह । देवत्वम् । सोमलोके । महीयते ॥१४॥

IAST Transliteration

pañcamyām atha mātrāyāṃ yadi prāṇair viyujyate | uṣitaḥ saha devatvaṃ somaloke mahīyate ||14||

Translation

पाँचवीं मात्रा में यदि वह प्राणों से वियुक्त होकर देह त्यागता है, तो वहाँ निवास करके देवत्व सहित सोमलोक में सम्मानित होता है॥१४॥

Academic Translation

Then, if in the fifth mātrā he is separated from the vital breaths (i.e., departs), having dwelt (there), he is honored in the Soma-world together with divinity.
