घटवद्विविधाकारं भिद्यमानं पुनः पुनः । तद्भेदे न च जानाति स जानाति च नित्यशः ॥१४॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

घट-वत् द्वि-विध-आकारम् । भिद्यमानम् पुनः पुनः । तत्-भेदे न च जानाति । सः जानाति च नित्यशः ॥१४॥

IAST Transliteration

ghaṭavad dvi-vidhākāraṃ bhidyamānaṃ punaḥ punaḥ | tad-bhede na ca jānāti sa jānāti ca nityaśaḥ ||14||

Translation

घट के समान (देह-उपाधि से) द्विविध आकार वाला, बार-बार टूटता हुआ—(आकाश/आत्मा) उसके भंग को नहीं जानता; फिर भी वह सदा ज्ञाता है।

Academic Translation

Like a pot, having twofold form, being broken again and again—(space) does not know its breaking; yet it is ever the knower.
