Transliteration

a̱yám i̱há prathamáḥ dhā́yi dhā̱tṛ́bhir hótā yájiṣṭho adhvaréṣv ī́ḍyaḥ | yám apnavā́no bhṛ́gavo virurucúr váneṣu citráṃ vibhváṃ víśe-viśe

Translation

यह (अग्नि) यहाँ सबसे पहले धातृगणों द्वारा स्थापित किया गया—होता, यज्ञों में अति-योग्य, अध्वर-क्रियाओं में स्तुत्य। जिसे द्रव्य-प्राप्ति कराने वाला मानकर भृगुओं ने वनों में प्रकट किया—चित्र, सर्वव्यापी—प्रत्येक-प्रत्येक कुल के लिए।
