Devīkṛta-praśna-varṇana (Description of the Goddess’s Questions) / देवीकृतप्रश्नवर्णनम्
जायते न हि सन्देहो नेतरेषामिति श्रुतिः । शिवभक्तिविहीनानामिति तत्त्वार्थनिश्चयः
jāyate na hi sandeho netareṣāmiti śrutiḥ | śivabhaktivihīnānāmiti tattvārthaniścayaḥ
निश्चय ही संदेह नहीं उठता—ऐसा श्रुति कहती है; पर अन्य के लिए ऐसा नहीं। यह सिद्ध सत्य है कि शिव-भक्ति से रहित जनों को तत्त्वार्थ का निश्चय और फल प्राप्त नहीं होता।
