tato ’paśyat kuthāsīnaṁ nānāvarāyambarasrajam |
sahasraṁ varanārīṇāṁ nānāveṣavibhūṣitam ||5.9.34||
तब उसने कालीनों पर बैठी हुई एक सहस्र सुन्दरी स्त्रियों को देखा—वे नाना वेश-भूषा से सुसज्जित थीं, और विविध रंगों के वस्त्र व मालाएँ धारण किए थीं।
He found thousands of beautiful women seated on carpets wearing different clothes and garlands and dressed in various attires.
Dharma is implied through restraint and purpose: Hanumān witnesses sensual luxury yet continues his righteous task of seeking Sītā.
Hanumān’s search brings him into a richly decorated inner chamber where many women are present, ornamented and seated comfortably.
