The Slaying of Jambumali
तस्य तच्छुशुभे ताम्रं शरेणाभिहतं मुखम्।शरदीवाम्बुजं फुल्लं विद्धं भास्कररश्मिना।।।।
tasya tac chuśubhe tāmraṃ śareṇābhihataṃ mukham | śaradīva ambujaṃ phullaṃ viddhaṃ bhāskara-raśminā ||
उसका ताम्रवर्ण मुख, बाण से आहत होकर भी अत्यन्त शोभायमान था—मानो शरद् ऋतु में खिला हुआ कमल सूर्य-किरणों से विद्ध हो।
