Hanuman’s Offer of Rescue and Sita’s Dharmic Refusal
त्वां हि पृष्ठगतां कृत्वा सन्तरिष्यामि सागरम्।शक्तिरस्ति हि मे वोढुं लङ्कामपि सरावणाम् ।।।।
tvāṃ hi pṛṣṭhagatāṃ kṛtvā santariṣyāmi sāgaram |
śaktir asti hi me voḍhuṃ laṅkām api sarāvaṇām ||
तुम्हें अपनी पीठ पर बैठाकर मैं समुद्र पार कर जाऊँगा। सचमुच, मेरे भीतर इतनी शक्ति है कि रावण सहित लंका को भी उठा ले जाऊँ।
