तीर-वर्णनम् / Rama’s Lament at Pampa and the Approach to Rishyamuka
हिमान्ते पश्य सौमित्रे वृक्षाणां पुष्पसम्भवम्।पुष्पमासे हि तरवस्सङ्घर्षादिव पुष्पिताः।।।।
himānte paśya saumitre vṛkṣāṇāṃ puṣpasambhavam |
puṣpamāse hi taravaḥ saṅgharṣād iva puṣpitāḥ ||
देखो, हे सौमित्रि! हिम के अंत में वृक्षों में पुष्पों का प्रादुर्भाव हो उठा है। पुष्प-मास में ये तरु मानो परस्पर स्पर्धा करते हुए सर्वत्र खिले खड़े हैं॥
'Winter has ended and the season of flowers has set in, O Saumitri! The trees are full of flowers as if competing with one another.
