तीर-वर्णनम् / Rama’s Lament at Pampa and the Approach to Rishyamuka

अपश्यतस्तां दयितां पश्यतो रुचिरद्रुमान्।ममायमात्मप्रभवो भूयस्त्वमुपयास्यति।।।।

apaśyatas tāṃ dayitāṃ paśyato rucira-drumān |

mamāyam ātma-prabhavo bhūyas tvam upayāsyati ||

जब मैं अपनी प्रिया को नहीं देख पाता, तब इन सुन्दर वृक्षों को देखते ही मेरे भीतर से उठता यह प्रेम और भी अधिक बढ़ जाता है।
