निराशस्तु तया नद्या सीताया दर्शने कृतः।उवाच रामस्सौमित्रिं सीतादर्शनकर्शितः।।।।

Transliteration

nirāśas tu tayā nadyā sītāyā darśane kṛtaḥ | uvāca rāmaḥ saumitriṃ sītādarśanakarśitaḥ ||

Translation

नदी से कोई संकेत न पाकर राम निराश हो गए। सीता के दर्शन न होने की पीड़ा से क्षीण होकर उन्होंने सौमित्रि (लक्ष्मण) से कहा।
